How orthodontic treatment works

- Diagnostic records: photographs, digital X-rays (OPG and lateral cephalometric), and impressions or digital scans are taken to plan your treatment precisely.

- Active treatment: braces are fitted or aligner trays are delivered. Regular review appointments (every 4–8 weeks) monitor progress and make adjustments.

What is the minimum age for orthodontic treatment?
We treat children from around age 7–8 for early interceptive treatment when needed. Comprehensive fixed or aligner treatment usually starts from age 11–12 for children, and there is no upper age limit for adults: orthodontics works at any age.
Are clear aligners as effective as fixed braces?
